A Fun Run at Anderson Park

Location: Lansing, Michigan
Rating: Easy

Anderson Park is a secluded gem with pretty views of the Grand River. It offers runners a fun experience with little traffic and some technical challenges.

Three loops make up over 5 miles of trail. Green (2 miles), blue (1.1 miles), and red (2.3 miles). These are all accessible from the road and connect for the option of more mileage.

Steep grades and twisting corners are part of what makes this such a fun a system to run. Every step is different from the last.

My favorite part of running these trails was the lack of traffic. I did not see a single person. A rarity on most trails in this area.

Anderson Park is open to everyone but is geared towards mountain bikers. Keep in mind that you may encounter a bike at any time.

From winding through woods to views of the Grand River, these trails offer a unique experience to runners in the Lansing area.
