300 Feet to Moro Rock & A View to Remember

Location: Sequoia National Park, California

350 stairs are all that stands between you and the top of Moro Rock. Three hundred feet of elevation change over a quarter of a mile. The trail, though easily accessed and short, isn’t for everyone.

Moro Rock is a granite dome rock formation in California’s Sequoia National Park. From the top, visitors get rewarded with amazing views of Sequoia National Park and the Great Western Divide.

Additional domes can been seen from the peaks of Moro Rock, including Little Baldy, Big Baldy, Beetle Rock and Sunset Rock.

We thoroughly enjoyed this stop and highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for a quick stop with spectacular views in the park.
