Who doesn’t love a good nacho? Bonus. It’s cooked over a fire. Campfire Nachos is one of my favorite go-to meals. Easy to make and easy to customize.
What You’ll Need
- Bag of tortilla chips
- 1 can black beans, stirred
- Pre-cooked shredded chicken or pre-cooked ground beef
- 2 cups shredded Mexican-style cheese blend
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers, poblano peppers or jalapeno peppers
- 1/2 cup salsa
- Any additional favorite nacho toppings (lettuce, tomatoes & olives are mine)
- 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
- Two 10-inch disposable aluminum dish
- Heavy-duty aluminum foil
What To Do
- Spread tortilla chips in the aluminum dish and top with black, pre-cooked meat, diced peppers, and shredded cheese.
- Cover the aluminum dish with foil and place above the coals.
- Cook for about ten to fifteen minutes until everything is hot and the cheese is melted.
- Add additional nacho toppings salsa, and sour cream. Enjoy.
