Lewis Falls is one of the smaller waterfalls in the park. Reaching only 30 feet in height, Lewis Falls is a scenic roadside waterfall.
Roughly 11 miles from the south entrance of the Yellowstone National Park and two miles south of Lewis Lake, Lewis Falls is a wide that stretches across Lews River. Supposedly this waterfall was named after Lewis from Lewis and Clark who wrote about and surveyed this waterfall.
There are parking lots on each side of the bridge of the falls and an easily accessible path that takes visitors to a viewing area.
