Waterfalls of Yellowstone: Mystic Falls

There’s no arguing that Yellowstone National Park is full of beautiful and unique waterfalls. From massive 300+ foot tall Lower Falls to the 130+ foot single tower falls. But Mystic Falls, for me, is certainly a favorite.

Located behind Biscuit Basin, Mystic Falls is a 70-foot waterfall with a stunning hike that has amazing views of the surrounding area.

The trail goes for about half a mile before forking. The left fork goes directly to the falls and is about one mile in length (one way). This is the easy route. The right fork is more adventurous and completely worth it. The trail takes hikers on a nearly two-mile (one way) uphill hike with rewarding views from above.
