Waterfalls of Yellowstone: Tower Falls

Each waterfall within Yellowstone National Park is unique. Tower Falls is one of the many breathtakingly beautiful falls and one of my personal favorites within the park.

From the trail down to Tower Falls

Tower Falls is located 17 miles north of Canyon in the Tower-Roosevelt and Northeast section of the park. It is 132 feet and is quite a sight as it plunges through eroded volcanic pinnacles.

There is a picnic area and a campground nearby, making this an easily accessible waterfall for a top view. A steep 1/2 mile trail took us down to the bottom of this impressive waterfall.

In the winter, we were told that Tower Falls freezes into an impressive 132 tall ice column.
