Location: Chatham, Michigan (near 18 miles west of Munising)
Michigan’s Upper Peninsula is well known for small, hidden waterfalls that few people know about. Chatham Falls is known to locals but not frequently visited by those passing through the village of Chatham.
We have driven past the Rock River Township Centennial Park dozens of times. We never knew that a small, 3-foot waterfall was tumbling just a short walk away.
While not impressive, Chatham Falls is a pretty, scenic waterfall, perfect for a quick stop to stretch your legs. Surrounded by moss and ferns, it embodies the spirit of the forest.
